Weddings in the north of the Bay
Getting married in Andernos, Arès, Lanton and Audenge
On the north shore of the Bay, weddings take place at the local town hall, followed by the Romanesque church of Saint-Éloi, Notre-Dame de Lanton, or one of the neighboring churches, before heading to an estate at the port of Arès, a reception hall, or an oyster shack. Here are the useful addresses and contacts for the four municipalities.

Civil marriage
The town halls of Andernos, Arès, Lanton, and Audenge
You may get married in the municipality where one of the two parties, or one of their parents, has lived or resided for at least one month. In Audenge, please note: dates for the year are open for booking starting in September of the previous year.

How do I book a wedding date in Audenge?
With the civil registry office (05 56 03 81 50), providing proof of residence in Audenge less than 3 months old and your identity documents. Reservations for the dates of a given year open in September of the previous year.
How to get married in Andernos-les-Bains?
The city does not publish a page on marriage: contact the town hall, 179 boulevard de la République (05 57 76 11 00), from Monday to Friday.
How to get married in Arès?
For any celebration requests, please contact the Arès civil registry office at 05 56 03 93 02. The town hall is located at 7, rue Pierre Pauilhac.
Where can I get married in a church in the northern part of the Arcachon Bay?
At Saint-Éloi or Notre-Dame de la Paix (Andernos), Saint-Vincent-de-Paul (Arès), Notre-Dame de Lanton and the chapels of Taussat and Cassy, or Saint-Paul (Audenge). Each municipality falls under its own parish: the numbers are above.
Where can I hold a wedding reception in Andernos or Arès?
In Andernos: La Salamandre hall, Hôtel Le 25, the Nami cabin, or Villa Rad'O. In Arès: the Domaine d'Arès and Cabane 44, on the oyster port.
Is there a reception venue in Audenge?
We did not find any venues in Audenge that advertise hosting weddings. The closest ones are the Centre d'animation in Lanton (300 people) and venues in Le Teich and Biganos.
Do you deliver and install flowers in the northern part of the Bay?
Yes. Our Gujan-Mestras shop is 25 minutes from Audenge, 30 from Lanton, and about 45 from Andernos and Arès: we deliver and set up the decor on the day of the event.
