Where can one get married at Bordeaux City Hall?

At city hall, in the Palais Rohan, Place Pey-Berland. The ceremony is performed by a Bordeaux official; the city requests that you arrive 15 minutes ahead of time.

How to propose marriage in Bordeaux?

Applications must be made online via the mesdemarches.bordeaux.fr portal. The city hall will then suggest appointment slots by email; attendance is mandatory for both parties with original documents, and it is at this stage that the date and time are finalized.

Can you get married in Bordeaux without living there?

One of the future spouses, or one of their parents, must have been living in Bordeaux for at least one month.

Can we get married at Saint-André Cathedral?

For a wedding at the cathedral, contact their reception at 05 56 44 67 29, or your parish: you must plan well in advance.

Can you host a wedding on a boat in Bordeaux?

Yes: after the town hall, several boats can be privately hired on the Garonne, such as the Sicambre from Bateaux Bordelais, the Burdigala boats, the Royal barge, or the Marco Polo.

Do you deliver and install flowers as far as Bordeaux?

Yes. Our Gujan-Mestras shop is 50 minutes away: we will deliver the bouquet and boutonnieres, then set up the decorations at the town hall, the church, and the reception venue. The travel is included in your quote.
