The ceremony
The town hall and churches of Arcachon
The civil wedding takes place at the Town Hall. For a religious wedding, the Notre-Dame basilica and the city's churches, including Saint-Louis des Abatilles, fall under the jurisdiction of the Arcachon-La Teste parish.

Getting married on a boat in Arcachon
The civil wedding ceremony takes place at the town hall, but the celebration can continue on the Bay. We have already decorated the UBA's Greenboat with flowers for a wedding.

Where is the Arcachon town hall located?
At the Town Hall, Place Lucien de Gracia. The civil registry office is at the municipal administrative center, in the same square, at 05 57 52 98 98.
How do I prepare for my wedding at the Arcachon town hall?
Pick up the marriage application file from the civil registry office, then submit it once completed, as a couple and in person. All procedures are available on the city's website.
Can you get married in Arcachon without living there?
One of the two future spouses, or one of their parents, must have their domicile there or have resided there for more than one month at the date of the publication of the banns.
Where can one get married in a church in Arcachon?
At the Notre-Dame basilica, at Notre-Dame-des-Passes in Le Moulleau, at Saint-Ferdinand or at Saint-Louis des Abatilles. They are under the jurisdiction of the Arcachon-La Teste parish (09 75 49 30 32), which requests that you book at least one year in advance.
Can you get married on a boat in Arcachon?
The civil marriage ceremony takes place at the town hall. The celebration, or a secular ceremony, can then be held on the water: the Côte d'Argent catamaran from the UBA or the boats from Pyla Yachting host weddings.
Where can I host a wedding reception in Arcachon?
